Have Questions?
"The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge." ~ Thomas Berger
Q: What is a MRQT?
A: Say MRQT as if it were a word and not an acronym…go ahead, do it once. MRQT…MaRQT…Market. Market Ideation. The words Market and Marketing seemed too bland and boring, so we spiced it up a bit.
Q: What is Ideation?
A: We’ve seen ideation defined several ways, but basically it's the process of creating ideas or concepts. However, we like to take that one step further and put our ideas to action.
Q: How long does it normally take to build a website?
A: In most cases, you're looking at somewhere around 4 weeks. More extensive builds would take longer, but in many cases the 4 to 6 week range is the ball park figure.
Q: How much does a website cost?
A: The amount invested in a website varies from project to project. It really depends on what your business needs. Giving a price range wouldn't really be accurate. We can talk about cost once we learn more about your project and write up a proposal.
Q: Why do you use WordPress?
A: WordPress is open source content management software and currently powers around 25% of all websites on the Internet. The project is contributed to by tens of thousands of developers all over the world and is growing from strength to strength. WordPress allows us to develop flexible, customized websites to modern standards and observe web development best practices. Furthermore the community of web developers that use WordPress allows us to tap into this collective intelligence and bring that wealth of experience to your project.
Q: Why are your website care packages only for things you build, refresh, or that are built in WordPress?
A: The short answer is: We’re WordPress specialists, we’re good with WordPress.
The longer answer is: If you read the question and answer above, you know why we’re so set on using WordPress for our projects. We’ve spent hundreds of hours perfecting our craft on WordPress, so we only focus on WordPress websites. Frankly, if your website is based out of a different platform, we are probably not the best choice when it comes to caring for it. If your website isn’t built in WordPress, we’re sure it’s great, but we can’t do much for you as far as your website is concerned. If you’re still interested in joining the MRQTing Revolution, we’d be happy to build you a new website tailored to fit your business goals.
Q: How do you deal with working with clients in the same industry, as in direct competitors?
We handle situations like these on a case by case basis. It depends on a few factors, like what industry they are in, if they are area specific businesses, and what services they are each looking for.
Q: How is your website different than the full-time website designers that are reaching out to me?
Website designers, by their very nature, put aesthetics first. However, websites are much deeper than their appearance, and should be built with a specific marketing strategy in mind. Those designers rarely ask what you need it to accomplish, they just make it look nice. We build websites that look nice and work hard for your business.
